ROLES

UI/UX & Visual Design
Wireframe

Valve’s premier VR Kit, a top-of-the-line piece of tech for both gamers and developers. Given their prestige in the industry, it would make sense to make a product that entices both audiences.

So naturally with the website they made, a lot of the written and visual content is informative, and highly technical. The problem I find is that it’s been presented in a way that is too boring in comparison to this amazing product they have made. You know, standard hero image gallery, tri-text columns, not really interesting layout.

More interactivity and focused content layout

I wanted the redesign to be more akin to a one-page website design. Featuring a pannable product(s) page to give users more holistic experience in viewing the whole collection rather than scrolling up/down. From there, users can select the item of their choice and can explore further.

Pannable areas have been created for sections rich in written content to let the user engage in a more active experience, as opposed to passive reading.

Content layout has been altered using wider spacing and bigger font-sizes to give users a more easier time digesting information, whilst gaining their focus where it’s needed.
